1. Bookings & Driving Lessons

All driving lessons are subject to instructor availability. Focus Driving Academy will always endeavour to schedule lessons at convenient times for students.

Students must be contactable prior to their lesson as the instructor may call or send an SMS upon arrival.

All students are required to bring:

• Their current learner permit or driver licence
• Logbook (if applicable)
• Any required documentation for the lesson or drive test

Failure to provide the required documents may result in the lesson being postponed and cancellation fees may apply.

Students are responsible for ensuring they have any necessary corrective eyewear or medical aids required for driving.

2. Lesson Cancellations & Rescheduling

Focus Driving Academy requires a minimum of:

• 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of standard driving lessons
• 72 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of driving tests

Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in up to 100% of the lesson or drive test fee being charged.

Repeated late cancellations or non-attendance may require future lessons to be prepaid.

3. Payments

Payments may be made via:

• Cash
• Bank Transfer

Payment is due on or before the scheduled lesson unless otherwise agreed.

For prepaid lesson packages:

• Full payment may be required before commencement
• Lesson packages are non-transferable
• Packages must be used within the validity period advised at the time of purchase

Focus Driving Academy reserves the right to cancel bookings where payment has not been received within the agreed timeframe.

4. Refund Policy

Refund requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Where prepaid lessons or packages have commenced, refunds may be reduced by:

• The value of lessons already completed
• Any applicable administrative costs

Approved refunds will be processed via bank transfer to the nominated account provided by the student.

5. Drive Tests

Students attending a VicRoads drive test are responsible for ensuring they:

• Hold a valid learner permit
• Meet VicRoads eligibility requirements
• Bring all required documentation

Focus Driving Academy is not responsible for cancelled or postponed tests due to missing documentation or failure to meet VicRoads requirements.

6. Pricing & Packages

Prices and lesson packages may change without prior notice.

Any promotional pricing, discounts, or special offers are subject to specific conditions and availability.

Packages are:

• Non-transferable
• Not redeemable for cash
• Valid only for the student who purchased them

7. Student Conduct & Safety

Focus Driving Academy reserves the right to refuse or terminate a lesson where:

• A student behaves in an unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate manner
• The instructor believes the student is unfit to drive
• There are safety concerns for the instructor, student, or public

No refund will be provided where a lesson is terminated due to unsafe or inappropriate behaviour.

8. Social Media & Promotional Content

From time to time, Focus Driving Academy may request permission to take photographs or videos following successful driving test completions for use on:

• Social media platforms
• Website content
• Promotional materials

No images or videos will be published without the student’s consent.

Students may withdraw consent at any time by contacting Focus Driving Academy in writing.
